Leadership in many European countries are fully aligned with those in power with my country, the United States. In essence, in my opinion, all of them are firmly entrenched in a transnational disposition which is simply insane. They have love or feelings for no-one, the examples abound.
I observe all of this on the daily, fore it is my ´hobby´. The difference at this point in my life is that I am successfully avoiding the emotional cost of doing so. This group of absurdly overpampered individuals, which is absolutely galling, knows no boundaries and have nothing to offer anyone in the area of enlightenment. My true focus is on my nature; spiritual reality which I view as our true birthplace. Staying in front of the mirror for the purpose of self betterment, admitting what is flawed and then acting to correct, has helped tremendously in my life. So to be blunt, these clowns only occasionally surprise me anymore, because I have seen all that is wrong with them within myself.
Don´t give too much credit to those who have named their capital city as Nowhere. The Power that has created all is observing them and there is no place for them to run and hide. It is a rowboat full of fools. :P
I wish my best to you Maya. Don´t let them take your smile, which is probably very beautiful and I would think gives light to those around you. The fact that you reach out shows that you have strength and it too is needed.
